Aidan Turner as Captain Ross Poldark (BBC TV)
Aidan Turner as Captain Ross Poldark (Poldark, TV series, BBC).

In the late 18th century, Ross Poldark returns to his Cornish tin mines after spending three years in the army to avoid charges of smuggling, leaving behind his sweetheart Elizabeth. On his return, having fought in the American War of Independence, he finds his father dead, his estate in ruins and Elizabeth engaged to his cousin Francis. He rescues a young woman, Demelza, from a beating, and takes her on as a kitchen maid and attempts getting control of the mines sought after by a rival, the greedy and arrogant George Warleggan.

Aidan Turner (born 19 June 1983) is an Irish actor. He is best known for his roles as Kíli in the three-part fantasy film The Hobbit and John Mitchell in the supernatural drama series Being Human. Notable television roles include those of Dante Gabriel Rossetti in Desperate Romantics, and Ruairí McGowan in The Clinic. He also portrayed Luke Garroway in the film adaptation of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones in 2013. Turner also portrays Ross Poldark in the 2015 BBC adaptation of The Poldark Novels by Winston Graham.

Two's Company - D'Artagnan - Aramis The Musketeers

Two’s Company - D'Artagnan & Aramis The Musketeers

Two’s Company - D'Artagnan (Luke Pasqualino) & Aramis (Santiago Cabrera) from The Musketeers (BBC)

D’Artagnan (Character) is charismatic, impulsive and ridiculously brave with a fierce appetite for justice.

Although still young, d’Artagnan has seen enough of the world to despise its corruption and compromise. Raised in the country and trained as a fighter since he was a boy, only Athos can match his exceptional skill with a sword.

Athletic and determined, he is also intensely romantic, with a moving capacity for true love. In time d’Artagnan will go on to be the greatest Musketeer of them all and a legend in his own lifetime.

Actor - Luke Pasqualino

Luke is perhaps most recognizable from his role in E4’s BAFTA Award winning series Skins. Following this he was cast alongside Jeremy Irons in the critically acclaimed, The Borgias. Luke has also had cameo roles in the award winning BBC sitcom, Miranda.

Luke starred in the leading role in Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome. Last year saw Luke star in Joon-ho Bong’s thriller, Snowpiercer alongside Chris Evans, and the BBC comedy Inside No. 9.

Aramis (Character)- Charming but deadly, a great lover and a great fighter, he is a man of fascinating contrasts.

Handsome, a loner by nature but a faithful friend, Aramis is a complex figure. His love of women is notorious but he is very far from being a routine womaniser. His effortless charm means that he is never short of admirers.

A brilliant shot, Aramis has a ruthless streak but also the most romantic heart of the Musketeer brotherhood. He possesses a deep insight into human nature and puts his faith in a deity who understands and forgives its many contradictions.

Actor - Santiago Cabrera

Santiago’s breakthrough role came in Heroes, where he played Isaac Mendez, a heroin-addicted artist able to paint the future. He also starred as Lancelot in BBC’s Merlin, and was recently seen in Dexter and as Count Vronsky in Anna Karenina.

His film roles include Haven and Love & Other Disasters. He won critical acclaim for his role in Steven Soderbergh's Che.

James Norton - The Vicar 'Sidney Chambers'
James Norton - The Vicar 'Sidney Chambers'

James Norton (actor) - The Vicar 'Sidney Chambers' (Grantchester, ITV TV series)

James Norton (born 1985) is an English film, television and stage actor. He is originally from London and has also lived in Yorkshire. He played the lead role of Captain Stanhope in the 2011 revival of Journey's End, and he has appeared in the films Rush, Belle and Mr. Turner. His television roles include Onegin in an episode of Doctor Who, Henry Alveston in the BBC historical drama Death Comes to Pemberley, and ex-convict kidnapper Tommy Lee Royce in the 2014 BBC crime drama Happy Valley. He currently plays Canon Sidney Chambers in hit ITV period drama Grantchester.

Grantchester (TV series)
Grantchester is a detective drama set in a 1950s Cambridgeshire village of Grantchester near Cambridge, where local Anglican vicar Sidney Chambers (James Norton) develops a sideline in sleuthing - with the initially reluctant help of grumpy Detective Inspector Geordie Keating (Robson Green). The series is based on The Grantchester Mysteries books written by James Runcie.

I liked this guy from the minute I saw him in Happy Valley (BBC), but since seeing him as the marvellous character Sidney in Granchester, I though it was time to get back to drawing… so here it it… One extremely sexy vicar, I'll definitely be going to that church…
